We also move cycads  No job is too big, we have dug, boxed, and reestablished hundreds of mature cycads including  woodii, munchii , laevifolius, lehmannii , princeps, dolomiticus, heenanii,  cupidus , ghellinckii and so on.. With our technique we virtually eliminate any shock or setback, most of the time they don’t even lose their leaves. If they are moved wrong  the stem can deform or rot and can take many years to get it’s leaves back and even longer to look lush again, or the plant could even die. We are always interested in buying Cycads or Cycad seed
 

We are interested in any size of plant, even if it’s in bad condition.
We are also interested in sucker bulbs, we have had a tremendous amount of
experience in removing them and treating the tree afterwards, we have done this on some of the rarest cycads there is including woodii,  latifrons and so on, for some of the largest collectors and botanical gardens in the country. We will buy them on the tree and remove them or we will remove them for you, for a percentage of the bulbs, this includes treating the tree and setting you up with every thing you need to reestablish your percentage of the bulbs.

Another item worth mentioning
We have our own special Cycad fertilizer, we spent years working on a formula with all the trace elements to promote the healthiest growth and most beautiful leaves, it also promotes higher seed production. We sell it by the pound   it’s a little expensive, we get $2.50 per pound  ( 2 pound  min.) it’s a little cheaper if you by a quantity.  It has some costly ingredients but we feel that the great results outweighs the cost..

We encourage you to order it when you order plants, this will save you on shipping & handling charges . It also works well on other plants.  We also sell our Cycad soil mix, our plants thrive in it, we also will give the recipe to any one who wants it, just give me a call. 
 
 
 
 
 
 

This is better then gambling with them yourself and maybe hurting your tree or loosing the cuttings.   We buy almost any kind of Cycad seed, we are especially interested in Encephalartos, Ceratozamia, Zamia, and rare Dioons, we pay a very fair price. 
We also offer a pollination service we know a lot of people and we can come up with the right pollen for your plant, we have special technique for doing this. 
We have had tremendous success with a wide range of species even the hardest Dioons, we made some special tools for doing this. We offer the same deal as with the cuttings, we will come out and pollinate your tree for a percentage of the seed and we will help you start your percentage or buy all of them from you
